
They welcomed Jesus, shouting His praise, and a few days later, shouted, ‘Crucify Him.’ People had placed their hope in what they thought Jesus would do and were disappointed when He didn’t do it.
We all place our hope in something — finances, relationships, comfort, control. Misplaced hope inevitably leads to disappointment.
This week, we’re talking about a hope that survives suffering and transforms lives, even when things are at their worst. Placing your hope in Christ means putting things in the proper order, which makes other things less important and actually allows you to enjoy them.
